Need A Halloween Costume? These Ideas Have You Covered

Halloween is just around the corner. You’ve browsed some websites and checked out some costume shops, but you still don’t have a costume. Nothing appeals to you. That authentic Master Chief costume looked awesome, but you don’t want to pay $1500 to not get laid. But don’t lose hope. I have a few costume suggestions that are cheap, thrifty, and most importantly, awesome.

14 Sayings and Expressions that are Unnecessarily Long and Confusing

Although I am not very southern, I live in the south.  Somehow, I just ended up here.  I have (unfortunately) called this place home for a long time, and one thing has been increasingly upsetting me.  Everyone “around these parts” utilizes obnoxious southern expressions instead of speaking standard English.  To clarify, they announce a plethora of long and confusing shit (many times involving small animals) to express what they truly mean.

Get Out Of My Comic Books, U.S. Navy

I have a bone to pick with the U.S. Navy.  And it’s not what you’d expect.

It all started with a comic book that I was reading a couple of weeks ago.  It felt remarkably solid, and didn’t have the usual flexibility of a comic book.  When I went to flip the page (from the edge, so as not to contaminate the ink with the oil from my fingerprints), I found that I couldn’t, and had to physically grip the page between my thumb and forefinger to turn the page.  I found the offender on the next page – a cardboard reply post paid slip, courtesy of the US Navy.

VIDEO: Perfect Revenge - Two-Way Prank Phone Call

Something happened today.  Something that really set me off.  Something that really had to be dealt with.  Something that required... revenge?  Two things happened in my life that led to this moment.

Welcome to the Fake Apocalypse

We have all heard the horror stories of the Apocalypse.  We have all seen the bad 1940’s movie predicting what will happen in the final days. Books were written in the days of past focusing mainly on society right before it crumbles.  There are supposed to be apparent signs pointing towards the end of the world. As I was walking around my local giant superstore yesterday, I realized something: We.Are.There.  The Apocalypse is now.  And yet, we are alive.  In fact, shit is going pretty well.  We have the symptoms of imminent doom, but no doom is to be found.  Is it possible to have apocalyptic times without the Apocalypse?  Apparently.
